Word Nerd 2: Love and Free
It's Word Nerd Wednesday again and I was inspired by a little conversation with the homie (IG: @thetrapwitch) to talk about the origin of the words "Free" and "Love." It's surprising what we find out when we delve into something we think we're familiar with!
A few refinements I want to make on what I stated as I free-wheel 99% of everything I say in every video (the only thing I plan ahead of time are the words).
- Freedom is the act/ion of love(ing). Love is the feeling of desire and pleasure.
- The former involves both caring for someone/something and holding them/it dear. The latter may lead to such things, but can as easily be overruled by personal interest/ego.

- I would rather you be without me and better (or at least free to be better) than be with me and become worse.
- Worse here means not being your most genuine and actual self. Or not doing the things you should/need to be doing for yourself.
